The Aquasol AFBT-4.0 Fitback Weld Backing Tape Heavy Duty 600 AMP, 4" Wide, 1.5" Fiberglass Center Strip Width, 41' Length can be used for pressure vessels, large bore pipes, shipbuilding, fabrication, and many more applications. It conforms to a number of surfaces and shapes and is ideal for plate, sheet, and pipe welding. A woven fiberglass strip is applied to the back of the weld to eliminate or reduce the need for back purging and create a weld pool enclosure. Halogen and chlorofluorocarbon free acrylic base adhesive.
